As a matter of fact, if I were to be a little more metaphorical, I would say that the bingo cards are actually a microcosm of the real world that we live in.

Allow me to go in to the details and explain this to you.

Gamers are actually under the impression that life hands out of deals us a particular given set of cards. Sometimes, we end up getting a bad hand, but we still try to make the most of the situation at hand, literally. Though this happens pretty often, the necessity to bluff does arise at times, and hence, we manage to make through and make our way through the tough times as well as the adversities into a much more comfortable situation as well as status. The same thing is valid for bingo. The game deals us with a certain cards that we are supposed to play. Some of these cards are destined for success and for winners, but we do give up on the bad ones? Duh. No, of course not! We deal with them in the best way we can, and at some points of time, we can end up beating up the surer bets.

Similar to what happens in real life, fortune always plays an important role. However, important does not mean complete.
